We take the safety and wellbeing of each other and the young people in our care seriously.

All Leaders complete safeguarding training and are cleared to work with young people through the Government's Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

As Scouts, our policy is to safeguard the welfare of all young people by protecting them from neglect, physical, sexual and emotional harm. All members have a duty to report concerns and a right to do so in confidence and free from harassment

Bullying is  taken seriously and parents are always included when working towards resolutions. Sessions on anti-bulling are included annually.  For more information see the Scouting Together We Can Beat Bullying Guide

As leaders it is our duty to report ALL safeguarding concerns as a matter of urgency following the correct process.
