They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
Welcome to the Cubs' pages.
4th Beaconsfield Scout Group has 2 Cubs packs meeting on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
* Tuesday Cubs is currently non-operational due to a lack of Leaders *
Cubs are normally aged between 8 and 10 and a half.
A Cub Scout Pack normally has 24 Cub Scouts and is split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors.
Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.
If you are interested in helping out do get in contact, we really could do with the help.
On the last weekend in April 2016, over 1,200 Cubs and almost 350 Leaders took part in a 2 night, 3 day Cub Camp at Phasels Wood to celebrate CUBS100. A great time was had by all in glorious sunshine. It was an amazing weekend, full of lots of exciting activities. There was a Camp Fire on the Friday night and a Main Stage Party on the Saturday night attended by Steve Backshall and Thom Evans (ex-Wasps Rugby player) which caused much excitement. Did your Cub do the Cresta Run, the Zip Wire, the Zorbs, the Climbing Wall, the Cube, Archery, Air Rifle shooting or did they just take in the party atmosphere.
The 4th Beaconsfield group was the best represented from the Woodlands District!
